In 1992 Julia Dee put together one of the most composite professional alterations and total wardrobe care business in London. Her ideas were simple and very marketable and covered both the professional and personal sides of the fashion industry.
The success of this company has been marked by its rapid development from a small industrial unit to a 4,000 square-ft. studio. It now employs some 20 or so tailors and fitters and boasts the names of royalty, fashion editors and celebrities amongst its long list of personal clients.
Julia's formal training at art college and then 8 years spent in the Middle East running her own couture company has given her the knowledge and understanding of how the client expects and relies on the highest quality of service. Her 2 years spent on both Harrods and Harvey Nichols shop floors has left her in no doubt as to the importance of a reliable company to be trusted implicitly.
Julia hopes that by developing the different aspects of her business further she can in the future be solely responsible for the full valeting, storage, delivery and production of clothes. She works tirelessly at improving her quality control, her staff are trained rigorously and her premises provide a comfortable, yet professional environment for consultations, fitting and production.
